Another classic in the world of lattes is the caramel latte. Almost every coffee shop has one on its menu, and for good reason.
The caramel latte is as easy to make as finding caramel sauce or syrup and adding it to a latte! Many shops even make their own caramel syrup for that extra boost of flavor.
For this recipe, we recommend looking for a premium caramel sauce or making your own for the highest quality and freshest taste possible!
Make your own caramel sauce! It’s less expensive and easy to do. In a saucepan over medium-high heat, cook 1 cup sugar, whisking constantly, for about 10 minutes until it melts. Add 6 tablespoons salted butter and whisk until melted and combined. Pour in ½ cup heavy (whipping) cream while whisking. Let cool for about 15 minutes before using.
To make this a salted caramel latte, add a pinch of salt when stirring in the caramel and sugar and top off with an additional pinch of salt over the caramel drizzle to finish.
